So when my husband's little sister, Megan, was younger we all took a trip to the Great Mall of America.  Megan got to bring a friend and she brought Ashley.  That was the beginning of my friendship with Ashley even though I was ummm, let's say a FEW years older.  I loved her spirit, her laugh and something about her reminded me of Julie Roberts.  After Megan graduated from high school everyone went off to college and we all lost touch......until I received an email recently from her.  It just so happened she is one of my blog stalkers and decided that she, her mom and brothers wanted their pictures taken.  As soon as we talked on the phone and then met for our shoot I knew instantly that Ashley was still the same person as she was when she was 15 and still could make me laugh by just her laughing!

Angel Kisses {Family}

For those of you who don't know, I have four very beautiful girls and although I do take pictures I load them on my computer and they stay in their little spot in file heaven in three different places.  I rarely print them and occasionally I I try to organize them but then get busy in the daily grind.  When people meet the four of them the question of the day always seems to be So who does Bella look like?  My Bella has the cutest freckles and every since she was old enough to understand me she thinks of them as angel kisses.  We count them and before prayers and bedtime she tells me what angels have been kissing her lately to be giving her SO MANY angel kisses.  Bella seems to also know that the other three girls don't have them like her because one day her and Ellie were sitting at the kitchen bar and I made a comment about how brown Ellie was and Bella said, I know!  Ellie gets tan and I don't.  I don't know why because I try! and then without missing a beat she said, but I have angel kisses and she don't.   Well, the other day she was playing outside and I had just got home from a shoot and I asked her if I could take some pics of her so I could always have them and remember every single one.  Bella is my extremely shy one and doesn't really like to get photographed, right Kelley?!!  The angels must have had the same idea and swept her shyness away.....for a few. 

My Baby Graduated

My baby graduated :(  Aside from being so busy with work I have a senior who graduated!!!  I have been an emotional wreck lately, just ask my family.  I think they all have been looking at me like I have three heads, but I am okay now.  I will be fine until August 17th when I leave her at her dorm at KU -- Rock Chalk Jayhawk!! -- and then I will be an absolute mess.  Anywho, here's some pics of us and haley on her big night!!  Mike and I also chaperoned her grad night party and had to stay at Incredibowl until 4:00 a.m.  I think I had 4 Red Bulls just to be able to hang with the big dogs!!  I am so lame.
